LOOKING FOR TWO ITEMS RELATED TO THE SEBLEY JEWELLERS & WATCHMAKERS, PREVIOUSLY LOCATED AT 8 BRIDGE STREET, CAMBRIDGE
1) Pictures of the shop, probably taken between 1870 & 1911. Some exist, cannot locate them
2) The shop supplied large wall clocks to colleges/schools/village halls etc... These clocks were kits with the name SEBLEY stamped on them.
Manufactured between 1870 & 1911
3) Any pictures of the old jewellery shop in Norwich: Oswald Sebley Jewellers.

There are a few key elements to the history of the family. Two key villages stand out as our original location: STURMINSTER MARSHALL and TARRANT KEYNESTON.
The names of SEBLEY & SIBLEY would appear to have been mixed up, the records for Sturminster Marshall are in a bad way and some of the clerics of the time had dreadful writing. I even track one branch of the SEBLEY'S (now mainly in London) back to Sturminster with no obvious link. However, so many records are damaged, who knows!
I did find a Robert Sebley born 1709 to a John Sebley, so maybe he is the missing link!
